An excellent hard drive & backup solution
I must admit that I was slightly skeptical about buying a piece of hardware from a company whose brand I wasnt familiar with - I'm glad I did. On opening the packaging I was pleasantly surprised at how solid and compact this drive is - it actually feels solid enough to throw it about without worrying about the consequences. The mirrored glass and rubber jacket give it the look and feel of a top of the range piece of kit. The 'one touch' backup feature works effortlessly - just two things to be aware of :-

1. The backup solution does not use compression - it simply copies the files at full size.

2. When you initially load the software up the default language is Chinese (I think) and you need to find the drop down language menu to switch to English - not really a problem, it took me about 5 seconds to work it out.

Great value for mnoney and very robust
I bought this drive for a specific job, which was to exchange large files with colleagues in Sweden without endless FTP uploads/downloads. The drive arrived really quickly, well packed and just worked perfectly out of the box. So far the drive has withstood two round trips by post to Sweden and back and is so convenient that I have ordered another one so that I dont have to wait for the return of the first one. The casing has a soft-touch finish and the whole unit feels solid.

Excellent hard drive - easy to use and no complaints!
I bought this hard drive to back up all the work, music and photos on my laptop. It arrived very quickly and after a brief scan of the instructions I plugged it in. The laptop (an acer one with microsoft/Windows operating system)recognised it immediately and in less than a minute I was dragging the files over. So far I have had no problems, the unit's extremely quiet and files are copied over much more quickly than to some memory sticks I've used. In terms of less important considerations, it looks nice and is both small and light; you might want to invest in a carry case of some sort though as the leather-style pouch in the box is not quite big enough for the unit..! I'm very impressed with this item and would certainly recommend it to anyone who's looking for a reliable external hard drive.
