Great little portable...
This portable hard drive arrived from CBA Digital very quickly. I ordered on a Thursday afternoon and it arrived on the Saturday morning by parcel post. The unit is very compact (fractionally smaller than the new Western Digital Passport) and quite a stylish piece of kit. It feels substantially built and well put together, the rounded corners and glossy black inserts front and back keeping it from looking too industrial.

The case supplied was a soft black vinyl pouch rather than the `hard' case suggested by the advertising photograph on this site and seemed quite cheap and nasty - the stitching came apart in a couple of places when I first put the unit in - having quickly fixed it myself I'm now quite fond of it - the vinyl is quite `squidgy' (it's really more like very thin memory foam) is close-fitting to the unit and actually offers a good degree of scratch and knock resistance. As easy to use as a USB stick (or even easier!)
I have been using this external hard drive every day now since I've bought it a couple of months ago and have had no problems whatsoever. I simply plugged it in and the computer takes up to 30 secs or so (the first time) to recognise it and then I can quickly navigate through my folders. Copying files, folders etc onto it is also very easy.

I haven't used the button on the side that aids you in copying into the hard drive because I always just save my work directly onto the hard drive. It has replaced the 2 USB sticks I had, but now I still have lots and lots of memory.

The wire that connects from the hard drive to the computer is very good and does not ever slip out, the cover it came with is great and has protected the shiny sides of the hard drive, especially since I just chuck it into my bag.

Overall, absolutely no problems with it and I think the cost is very reasonable for what you get.

Handy external memory
A good value external memory. Large capacity whilst still being compact. Comes with a handy storage pouch and usb leads too!
