Panasonic UJ-260 External Blu-ray Burner
I have a MacBook Pro and wanted an External Blu-ray Burner/Drive.

I searched for quite some time and looked at various makes and models.
I was comparing makes and models and YES, the price also!

In my case, the drive needed to work on the Mac side as well as the Windows side of my MacBook.
I was also looking for the drive to be simply powered by just the USB cable.

Excellent
Works really well with Windows XP Home. Cannot fault it. Have written several DVD movies without a problem. Very compact.

Best priced portable external burner
I bought this external burner a while ago and I have to say I haven't been disappointed. It still works perfectly.

I connected it to my Acer Aspire (windows 7) and it was immediately ready for use, no additional drivers needed. What is best: It doesn't need any external power, just the USB cable, which is provided. I haven't had any problems with burning. It is also relatively quiet.
Little extra: Comes with a nice little bag.

All in all, a fantastic item and excellent value for money!
