Sumvision Apex II 3.5 inch SATA Enclosure

Works well....once it's setup
I bought this enclosure as it looked quite sleek and stylish for such a low price. Everything in the box is of a decent quality, but there are a few things that made installing the drive alot more hassle than was needed. The red SATA cable inside the enclosure that connects to the hard drive was about 3 inches long, which means it had to be bent and squashes down in order to make the drive fit. Also, I had to swap the end plates around as they seemed to in the wrong position, no biggie, but again could have saved me alot time had they been positioned correctly. I'm very pleased with this enclosure now that I have it set up, and for the price, recommended!

Excellent Buy
I had a 3.5 inch 750 GB SATA hard drive and needed a cover. This enclosure was extremely easy to set up - the box came with all required cables and power cord - it even included a screw driver!

Plug and play on my XP PC with no problems at all.

Well worth the money - I will be buying a couple more.

What a lovely box
I needed a new enclosure for my External 500 Gig Hard Drive as my old one had died on me unexpectedly. When I saw this one on Amazon I was concerned as it was very cheap but took a chance. I have to say though that it is brilliant. It was a good price and it arrived within a week of ordering.
If I have any critisium it is that the on/off power button and the drive indicator light are at the same end as the cables so for ease of access to these two I have to have the leads trailling across the desk. This is the same for most external drives though.
Other than that I am very pleased with my purchase and am happy to recommend it to anyone who is looking for an enclosure.
