Well it worked for me!
I had read mixed reviews but decided to take a chance in view of the low price and the poor reviews of the kit sold by Apple themselves. The item came promptly and worked straight out of the box. My camera is a Panasonic Lumix DMC-TZ30. I had a slight concern because the images are not held directly within the DCIM folder but within a sub-folder of it. However my iPad 3 coped with this just fine.

I really appreciated the follow-up email from the seller. I did not need it but it gave the impression that if my experience had not been so good then they were ready to help. Well done!

FANTASTIC!!
This is a fantastic gadget for a fantastic price! I put my SD card into the reader, plugged it directly into my iPad 2, and there were all my photos!! No more syncing with my computer. Also given the option of just selecting certain photos to import, and not the whole card full! Brilliant!! Arrived in 2 days...5*****

Waste of money
I was planning on taking this on holiday with me so I could look at my pictures from my camera on my iPad. It doesn't work, it's not even the same product described on the page. It is not compatible with my iPad 3rd gen and there is no LED indicator. I'm very annoyed as in the title it states that the product is for iPad 2/3 but doesn't even work.

Want to return this and get a refund but now I don't even have time to get a new one before I leave for holiday.
