Corsair CMFUSB2.0-16GB 16GB Flash Voyager Water Resistant Flash Drive
fast, small, and rubbery!
i like this key a lot!, its fairly small (think the picture makes it deceivingly large), its got v fast read speeds and good write speeds, and its splash proof and feels well built. as read/write speeds are essentials on this sort of thing i thought i would post some results:-
read speed
30.1 M (average over 1 minute)
write speed
13.0 M (average over 1 minute)
keeping in mind usb 2.0 as an interface has a maximum transfer rate of about 35 M (real world results) i am pretty impressed with this!.

Disappointing
I bought this based on my experience with the 8GB version of the Corsair Voyager, which is truly amazing. I run a full operating system on it and for snappiness and speed I can't complain. Compared to the 8GB Voyager, the 16gb is a lame duck. It is very slow and prone to input/output bottlenecks. If you run a linux system don't go near this because it is the only USB stick I've ever used that linux would not recognise. Do a Google query and you'll see what I mean. Users of the new Mac Os might want to be careful also since, under your pretty desktop sits a linux-type system too:).
All in all a very costly let-down.

Excellent
The best USB drive I've ever owned. I only bought it because I thought I'd lost my SanDisk Cruzer. Now I have both but the Voyager is so much faster I hardly ever use the SanDisk anymore.
