Really great product, was a bit worried it would be quite a bit bigger than the 500GB version but is actually smaller so very pleased. Works wonderfully, quick transfer rate, have had no problems with it whatsoever. Would recommend to anyone.

i've been looking for a portable hard drive quite some time to make sure i will not regret with the purchase.
Lucky me I made a good choice and yes i did not regret at all. Everything works fine with my laptop running windows 7. The file transfer speed is fair and this hard drive works silently without any noise. Worth it.

So far so good
Previously and I still do have the 500GB model but I wanted another and this seemed to fit the bill. A little smaller in length but a little thicker. This is a better design and size. It looks smart. Works out of the box and is formatted to NTFS, however I needed it as FAT32 to use with my xbox. There doesn't seem to be a right click format to FAT32 option in windows7 so in order to format the drive I had to download some software called Acronis True Image WD Edition, which is free. This allows you to 'add' a drive to your computer and basically format the portable drive to how you want it. Which worked and was easy enough, no problems with it so far, seems slick and fast. I've now got loads of files and media in a box no bigger than a wallet, and loads of space left. I would recommend it.
